Details	This amplifier is pretty much a straight rip-off of the post-mixer amp provided as part of the general purpose front end in EMRFD. Two parallel 2N3904s are used because of the large amount of power dissipated in the stage. The output of this amp was adjusted for a Zout of 220 ohms, which matches the IF filter which follows. Since this is very close to usual 200 ohm collector load used in similar amps, the output transformer used in EMRFD was not needed. - Jason, NT7S 5 Jan 2007.
