MultiPig +

I need 3 (are ever how many it is) PLL Hex switches for my MultiPig +  anyone know where I can order these? I do not have my rig with me so no parts numbers handy. Or is there other options for the switches ? inquiring minds want to know.

Re: MultiPig +

The hex switches are available from Mouser (don't have the part number) but I have some.

Here is a pix of the switches http://kitsandparts.com/PLL3DONE.jpg

Anybody else need some?

Re: MultiPig +

Hey Diz
While digging through my "Junk Box" tonight, I found an unopened still in same white bag you packaged it in  brand new Multipig+ PLL kit, you still have any of those kits (other boards) tucked away anywhere you wanna part with? or do I need to figure out what to do with this new found toy on another project ?

Re: MultiPig +

Guess I'll keep it and figger out how to use it with the RF Tool kits. Maybe the need for a PLL will inspire you to do another run of the MP+? Thats a suttle hint, Diz

Only if I can come up with a very quiet DDS/VFO circuit
I'll explore the DDS early next year.

Re: MultiPig +

Did you find a quiet DDS/VFO circuit?
It seems with the DDSVFO chips, only a low pass filter for the desired VFO frequencies would be needed.
I have a few 9850 DDS synthesizer chips (with 125 MHz osc) lying around to replace the analog VCO/PLL circuit-
What's next?
Tnx

Re: MultiPig +

Hello Rich,
I have put that project on hold until I have more time to dedicate to it.
Right now I have too many things happening and don't have the time to devote to the project.
To answer your question, I have not produced a "satisfactory" DDS yet, but looking at the AD9951
